Plugging into Bountee - the future?

So it's about time we offered you all a little update...

We've had a lot of work going on behind the scenes over these past few weeks - well, since before Christmas really and I am aware that a lot of people are interested in the future direction of Bountee. I think now would be a great opportunity to begin talking about the future, and just how we see Bountee developing.

Firstly, it's a little-known fact that Bountee is ran part-time by a team of three - and the label 'beta' on the top corner of our site is very much meant in that vein; we're not just following the typical web-two-oh! crowd :)

But soon all of that is about to change.

Next week, we see our first, full-time employee start working on nothing else but Bountee, technical development. This is a great thing for two reasons:

1 - It means that Bountee will become more stable and usable as a t-shirt design platform.

2 - It means that we can really begin with our plans for world, custom/bespoke design domination (really!).

So what does this mean?

Well, for starters over the coming weeks and months - as more of us quit our day jobs, and bet the house on this little baby of ours - we will bring renewed and much requested focus to the site. We are aware the you all deserve as much love and attention as we can offer you :)

It also means that we can really start thinking about offering other services to those of you who have requested such things as your own stores, wholesale/bulk shirt ordering and an open API to enable you to plug your own, existing stores into the Bountee Design Tool and our store process.

We'll aim to update you far more frequently on developments, and please keep your eye out on the blog for future news; especially if you would be interested in helping us in shaping the future of a site which we genuinely think of as all of ours!

Thanks for all of your support over the past 8 months - without you we are genuinely nothing - it's been a wonderful, humbling experience.

Now - time to get back to work... :)
